Many travellers may have questions we have not addressed within the contents of the website, so the frequently asked questions listed below may be of assistance.

How large are your tour groups?
We aim to keep our Tour groups Intimate, so on average we travel with approximately 20 travellers at the one time, we do make exceptions for special tour groups wanting to travel for a special occasion.

How do I book and pay?
You are required to make a Deposit of $400 per person at time of Booking and then the remaining amount is due in instalments set out by Authentic Flavours, with the final instalment being made 21 days prior to departure. This can be done by way of completion of the Booking form provided on the website and also you must sign and acknowledge our Terms and Conditions.

How many people travel solo on your tours?
We have many Travellers that prefer to travel solo on our tours, our Tours cater for both groups and individual travellers.

If i want to share with another solo traveller but there is not one available, will i be forced to pay the higher rate for my own room?
No you will not. If another solo traveller is not available to share with, you will be placed in single occupancy accommodation but will only be charged as one part of a twin share traveller.

Do I require a good level of fitness for this tour?
There will be times where there may be walking on rough roads and cobblestoned paths, an average level of fitness is required.

What is the average age group of people that take your tours?
Age groups vary on our tours as we like to think we cater to a large variety of age groups.

Can optional extra day trips be purchased during the tour?
Yes they can be purchased along the way, there will be free days on some tours, here you will have the option of embarking on one of the many day tours available such as in Paris, there is the half day tour to Mont Saint Michel.

Will i get free time?
Authentic Flavours does try to allocate free time where possible, we know travellers like to see the world on their on from time to time.

Are children allowed on your tours?
Children are welcome on our Tours, however there may be times where some walking activities and adult preferred outings such as the Opera or a Yacht cruise on the Mediterranean may not be ideal for children.

Are transfers included?
Transfers may be included on some tours, please consult with the what’s included list on each tour page.

Are flights included?
Flights are not included in our tours, we are happy to help you with this aspect if required.

I am vegetarian, will i be catered for with meals being included?
When booking your Tour we need to know if you have special dietary requirements, this way we may cater to individual needs.

What if i need to cancel or amend my tour?
Cancellation and amendment of tours is possible, they may incur a fee, please seeTerms and Conditions for these.

Do you offer discounts on group bookings?
We can certainly look at group bookings and offer our best price.

What should I pack?
Always consult with our shopping and packing guide on the bottom of each tour for ideas on what to pack.

How much spending money is required?
This is an individual preference, however we do recommend you budget approximately $200 per day as a guide.

Do I need any visas or vaccinations?
Authentic Flavours Tours will always notify their travellers of Visa requirements and required vaccinations.

When will my documents arrive?
Your Documents will arrive upon receival of the total Tour cost.

What can I expect the weather to be like?
On receival of your Documents, Authentic Flavours Tours will also include for your perusal information about the regions you will be visiting and the local weather conditions.

Travel Insurance is a prerequisite when travelling with Authentic Flavours Tours, we can assist you with this if required.
