Amazing hand crafted masks and costumes are worn the entire week, it is not unusual to see black capes disappear quickly around dark corners. It really is a once in a lifetime experience!
There are events the entire week to keep you busy and many Grand Balls to choose from. The height of elegance and extravagance.

DAILY ITINERARY
Day1 Venice
Welcome, today your tour starts.
You will arrive at your hotel, relax and settle in.
The Welcome Cocktail Soiree will be held this evening in our very own private function room. Later we will indulge in a magnificent Venetian meal with accompanying wines from the Veneto region.
Day2 Venice
After Breakfast we embark on a walking tour of Venice conducted by our very own professional Venetian Tour guide. Our tour will explore the many sites of wonderful old Venice including discovering the many secrets the City holds, as well as learning about the life and times of the infamous Giacomo Casanova.
Later tonight Dinner will be at a traditional Osteria.
Day3 Venice
This morning we head off by speed boat to the island of Murano for a private tour of one of the many glass blowing factories, we will learn how the world famous Murano glass is created and distributed all over the world, we will visit the streets of murano glass sellers and galleries.
Stopping for lunch and a relaxing wine to soak up the atmosphere.
After lunch we proceed to the Island of Burano famous for its colourful painted houses, and the Museum and school of Lacemaking.
And finally the Island of San Michele (Cemetary Island) still in the Lagoon, it is breathtaking, you will never visit another Cemetery like it. Filled with famous Artists, Poets, Composers such as the remarkable Conductor Igor Stravinsky.
The evening upon returning to your hotel is free time.
Day 4 Venice
Today we visit the Palazzo Ducale and the “Piombi” were Casanova was imprissoned but managed to escape.
We will then continue on to the beautiful St.Marks Basilica stoping for a special lunch in St.Marks Square at Caffe Florian Italy’s oldest Caffe’, opened in 1720.
Late afternoon we will be guided by our fabulous Venetian tour guide to our specialty Overview of Venice tour.
Later tonight Dinner & Drinks.
Day 5 Venice
Half day free.
We meet at 6pm today for a personalised Wine tasting and three Course Dinner presented to us by Local Venetian wine experts from the Veneto region.
Day 6 Venice
Today we visit a traditional Venetian Costume atelier to organise our costumes for the Grand Dodges Ball we will attend at the Carnevale Finale.
We will take a walking tour of Venice street markets today, feel free to shop and peruse along the many stalls choosing souvenirs and gifts, stopping for a refreshing Prosecco e salatini followed by lunch in a traditional Osteria.
Tonight we have fun at the Venice Carnival Party Cruise.
Day 7 Venice
Today is a Free Day.Enjoy!
Day 8 Venice
This morning we go Mask shopping and we attend a Mask making craft class, we learn how to make these amazing masks and we watch as the professionals create their works of art before our eyes.
This afternoon after lunch we take a Gondola ride through the Lagoon and Canals of Venice.
At 4pm we indulge the senses in the sweet side of Venice on the Chocolate of Venice tour, we will sample all the sweet delicacies that often only are made for Carnevale such as fritelle, chiacchiere.
This evening Dinner and wine degustation in a local trattoria.
Day 9 Venice
After Breakfast we will go and collect our costumes for our tour later today as well as the Grand Ball.
Later in the day we will partake in the Essence of Carnevale Tour, here you will be required to be in full costume to get into the atmosphere of Carnevale, we stay on in St.Marks square and party at Carnevale until your feet can no longer stand it. Enjoy the festivities, this is one to tick off the bucket list, a once in a life time event “Carnevale in Venice”.
Day 10 Venice
This is the big day!
You will need to prepare for the Grand Ball this evening, mask check, costume check, makeup check (even the gentlemen)… you may choose to have your make up professionally done, we will lead you in the right direction not to worry.
We meet for a lunch on the run.
Then the time has come.. Il Ballo Del Doge, excitement plus you are a VIP at this event so all areas will be open to you, the event begins at 9pm.
Day 11 Venice
We have decided to give you a free half day today as after your last nights antics at the ball we are sure you will need the rest.
Relax and enjoy your surroundings, explore on your own, we meet for an early dinner and drinks in some of the most well known Bars in Venice such as Harry’s Bar then we head off to join our Venetian tour guide for the Venice Murder and Mystery Tour.
Day 12 Venice
Today is your last day, no tour would be complete without listening to Vivaldi in Venice! We will head to one of the local theatres to listen to a traditional Vivaldi concerto, the orchestra is dressed in costume, you will think you have stepped back in time.
Don’t forget to purchase some authentic Venetian stationary, you mustn’t leave without it.
We will lake you for a stroll along the Fashion streets of Venice such as Mercerie, Piazza San Marco, Frezzeria, Laguna.
Tonight we Have a wonderful time at our Farewell Cocktail Soiree and Dinner.
